Description:

The Royal Academy of Music in London is among the world's premiere music conservatories. The Academy focuses on musical performance, and students' academic coursework is determined on an individual basis in conjunction with an adviser. The flexibility in the program allows students to focus primarily on their performance skills through the mentoring of some of the world's top music faculty and professional performers. Students will take private lessons and participate in ensembles plus enroll in courses in musical analysis and musicology.

Application Requirements

Northwestern students applying to RAM must:
  1. Complete the Northwestern University Application for Permission to Study Abroad by January 6, 2012.
  2. Complete the Royal Academy of Music Application by January 9, 2012.
  3. Audition in New York in February or March 2012.
