Description:

Queen Mary, an institution with excellent academic credentials and flexibility, offers one of the few compact, residential campuses of the University of London system. The campus is located in the East End, a working-class, eclectic, and truly multicultural area of London. Students will be able to take courses across the curriculum and will have access to comprehensive course offerings ranging from the sciences to the arts.

Northwestern Requirements

Northwestern students are required to live in University campus housing whenever possible. Therefore, Arcadia will place students in University housing if it is available.

Additional Information

Co-Curricular Learning Certificate: By participating in a minimum of 15 hours in a variety of learning activities and writing a reflective essay about your  experiences, you can receive a non-credit bearing certificate to accompany your official transcript. Application Requirements

Prior to receiving an application, all Northwestern students must complete the following steps:
  1. Complete the mandatory Study Abroad 101 Quiz on Blackboard.  Call 847-467-6400 or e-mail studyabroad@northwestern.edu (include your name and netID) to register for this quiz.
  2. After receiving a score of 90% or above, students can pick up the Northwestern University Application for Permission to Study Abroad at the Study Abroad Office. This application is not available online.
Northwestern students must complete two applications for this program:
  1. An Arcadia program application available on the Arcadia web site.
  2. Northwestern University Application for Permission to Study Abroad.
