Language Requirements
One year of college-level Japanese or the equivalent. This is a Northwestern requirement and will apply to students studying abroad beginning 2011-2012 and is in effect for all students who matriculated at Northwestern in Fall 2009 or later. CIEE recommends 1 college-level Japanese language course.Academic Specialties
