Program Requirements
- Students must have completed at least two years or the equivalent of college-level Chinese.
- Students must have a B average in Chinese language and major courses.
- Students should be enrolled in a Chinese language course the term before they go abroad.
Note: Spring term without the January term is NOT an option for NU students.

The curriculum consists of:
- A required One-on-One Tutorial course designed to help students reach a higher level of language competency through exploration of an in-depth topic of their choice
- A required Hangzhou Studies course
- Two electives focused on Chinese culture
Additional Information
- Qualified Full Year students may direct enroll at Zhejiang University of Technology for one course during the second semester.
- Credit bearing and non-credit bearing internships are available in a wide variety of fields, depending on availability and student qualifications.
Housing
Double-occupancy rooms in a dormitory with a Chinese university student. No meals are included but three meals per day are offered in campus cafeterias at a modest price.Program Costs
