Description:

- Students in this unique program attend lectures by some of the world's leading HIV/AIDS authorities
- Students will be exposed to research and fieldwork at the largest and oldest community-based HIV/AIDS research study in Africa: Rakai Health Sciences Program (RHSP)
- Student research includes community development and infectious disease prevention, among several other topics
- Excursions and site visits will take students to notable historical, cultural, ecological, and rural areas in Uganda, including community service activities
- Students will get hands-on experience by working directly with NGOs in Kampala
