Founded in 2003 and located in the heart of the city, the Prague Film School (PFS) provides professional, practical training for experienced students in film production, documentary, and acting for film from all over the world. Students have access to the school's fleet of cameras, including RED, Arri, Canon and Sony high definition cameras as well as high-end lighting, sound and grip.  They also have access to the Barradov Studio, one of the oldest functioning film studios in Europe. Productions come from all over the globe to capitalize on Prague's beauty and film resources, making it a dream city for film students.

Apartments, residence halls or privately rented rooms in houses or flats. NOTE: the PFS makes every effort to help secure comfortable housing for its students but cautions that flats are not luxurious, and private or shared accommodations genereally do not have internet. The school provides only basic furnishings such as a bed, pillow, linens, dresser, writing table, and minimal kitchen equipment.
