Description: 

This program is designed for students interested in exploring a wide variety of subjects on Czech culture and society including history, media, art, religion, literature, and politics. Participants have the option of directly enrolling in classes at Charles University or FAMU, Central Europe's preeminate film school.  For-credit internships are also available with local NGOs.

Admission Info:

To apply, Northwestern students must:

  1. Complete an NU Study Abroad Application by the appropriate deadline
  2. Complete a CIEE application by the program's deadline

Languages: English, Czech

Language Requirements: 

None; however, students are required to take a Czech language course throughout the duration of the program.

Housing: 

Homestay, Charles University dormitory, or a CIEE-Administered apartment.
