Sponsor: Northwestern University Office of International Program Development (IPD)

Location: Paris, France

In this exchange program, students enroll directly at ESPCI, one of the leading Grands Ecoles in France, and take courses together with local or other international students. Since 1882, ESPCI has attracted the most creative scientific minds for more than a century: Nobel Laureates Pierre and Marie Curie, Paul Langevin, Frédéric Joliot Curie, Pierre-Gilles de Gennes and Georges Charpak are among the many scientists who have made ESPCI their home. Students are also able to combine research with courses in a wide-range of fields. Northwestern students have the option of studying abroad for a semester or full academic year. Students pay Northwestern tuition and are responsible for travel and all other expenses (including room and board).
