Description: 

Students plan and execute an independent study project and take field-based, experiential program courses. This program examines the origins of conflict in Rwanda; the social, human, and psychological impacts of genocide; and the challenges and opportunities of post-conflict restoration. Courses are taught in English.

To apply, Northwestern students must:

  1. Complete an NU Study Abroad Application by the appropriate deadline
  2. Complete an SIT application by the program's deadline
