Graduate Assistant

Dana began working at Northwestern with the Student Organizations and Activities (SOA) team in August 2016. Dana is responsible for late night programming; specifically as an advisor for the registered student organization: NU Nights and orchestrating Chicagoland experiences. In addition to working at NU as a Graduate Assistant, Dana is seeking her M.Ed. at Loyola University Chicago’s Higher Education Student Affairs Program.

Before landing in Chicago, Dana earned her Dual BA in Communications and Design, Art and Technology from Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY. During her time at Bellarmine University she became passionate with the world of student affairs after being involved with the Bellarmine Activities Council, Orientation Team, and Student Government Association.

Dana, an Ohio native enjoys watching her favorite Ohio-based sports teams, and has adopted a fan ship for the Chicago Cubs- due to her long love of baseball. She also enjoys a good cup of coffee, exploring the different hidden gems of Chicago, and reading a (non-academic) book.
