IT'S TIME TO BE HEARD 

Get registered! Be prepared to vote in the General Election on Tuesday, November 4, 2008

Recent changes in state election law-including a new procedure
called 'grace-period registration and voting' that extends the
registration deadline--have made it more convenient to sign up to vote. You may also "vote early."

Check the Evanston Clerk's Office for the most current and complete information.

Voter Qualifications:
In Illinois regardless of when or how you register you must be:
  • A U.S. Citizen
  • At least 18 years old by Election Day
  • A resident of your precinct at least 30 days prior to an election
