The mission of the Student Affairs Division at Northwestern University is to help students establish and fulfill their academic, career, personal and social objectives and to help them meet the challenges they may encounter as they pursue those goals. The Division's programs promote the development of leadership and interpersonal skills, and they furnish resources and facilities for physical and mental health. By promoting an environment for living and learning, the Student Affairs Division provides students opportunities to participate in a rich academic community in which they can develop an appreciation for knowledge and a readiness to learn, both inside and outside the classroom, now and throughout their lives.
