What You See is What You Get

The editing screen in Cascade is similar to Microsoft Word and most word processing software. 

what you see is what you get

symbol Custom Character: Insert special characters.
subscript Subscript: Insert a subscript, for example the number 2 in CO2.
superscript Superscript: Insert a superscript. For example, the 2 in x2
bold Bold: Bold your text
italicize Italicize: Italicize your text.
underline Underline: Underline your text.  DO NOT USE
strikethrough Strikethrough: Strikethrough text.
left align Align Left: DO NOT USE – use Styles for align left
align center Align Center: DO NOT USE – use Styles for align center
align right Align Right: DO NOT USE – use Styles for align right
justify Justify: Click this to justify text.
Styles Styles: Access the various styles.  For example, align text/ pictures right or left, make internal bulleted links, etc. 
format Text style: Change text to various header styles. 
cut Cut: Use this to cut text.
Copy: Use this to copy text.
paste Paste: Use this to paste text while keeping the formatting.
paste text Paste text: Use this to paste text without keeping the formatting. (Ctrl + v). Recommended

Find and Replace  Find and replace: Find and replace text.
Spell Check Spell check: Use this to spell check your page.
Bulleted List Bulleted list: Create a bulleted list.
Numbered List Numbered list: Create a numbered list.
Outdent Outdent: Reverse indented text. Only use for nested lists.
Indent Indent: Indent text. Only use for nested lists.
Undo Undo: Use this to undo the last performed action.
Redo Redo: Use this to redo something that was undone.
link Link: This tool will link text or a picture to an external URL on internal page.
unlink Unlink: This tool will remove the link from a text or image. 
anchor Anchor: Create an anchor.  An anchor allows a user to create a special link so a user can jump directly to any point on a page. 
insert image Image: Insert or edit an image.
video Video: Insert or edit a video.
table Table: Insert a table
Horizontal Rule Horizontal Rule: DO NOT USE
Clean-Up Clean-up: This tool is used to clean up messy HTML code. 
Erase Erase formatting: Erase all the formatting of text.  Be careful with this tool as it will remove all formatting.
HTML HTML: View the HTML code.  Do not use this to make edits unless you are experience with HTML coding.
Full Screen Full screen mode: Clicking this button will make CASCADE full screen.
