Our website is designed to provide information for Student Affairs staff. If you are a Northwestern University student, please direct inquiries and support requests to Northwestern University Information Technology (NUIT).

Our mission is to provide effective, efficient, and collaborative IT services, solutions, and strategies in a timely manner to support and enhance the mission and activities of the Division of Student Affairs. We are continuing to realign our services to improve responsiveness and better meet the needs of the Division. Please bookmark this page and use the following guidelines for requesting support:
Computer Support
We support desktops, laptops, peripherals, software applications, and network resource permissions. We prefer you submit your request for support using the Computer Support Form. This will provide the timeliest response to your request. Alternatively, if you are not able to access the Computer Support Form, you can leave a voicemail request for support at 7-SAIT (847/467-7248).
Please note: The Computer Support Form is available only to computers on the Northwestern network. If you are using a computer that is off-campus, please connect through NU VPN before attempting to access the form.
Website Development and Content Management
We provide web support ranging from help with content updates to the addition of dynamic and media-rich features to your site. We are currently engaged in several DOSA department website redesigns. In order to ensure we are able to meet your needs, please submit your request as early as possible to sa-help@northwestern.edu.
Application Development
SAIT provides limited custom application development depending on the complexity of the requested solution and staff commitments. Please contact us as early as possible at sa-help@northwestern.edu to discuss the requirements of your request.
Computer Acquisition and Replacement
We are working to ensure individual computing equipment for DOSA staff is replaced on a life-cycle that ensures its effectiveness. Staff members receive notifications when their computers are scheduled for replacement. Department heads can request off-schedule replacements or new acquisitions for staff by submitting a request using the Computer Support Form.
Vendor Product Support
If you are considering acquiring new vendor software products or upgrading existing products, compatibility with the DOSA computing environment is a vital concern. We provide support for your technology-related initiatives with product evaluations, implementation project management, and upgrade support. Please contact as us as early as possible at sa-help@northwestern.edu to discuss your needs.
