Northwestern Unversity Students Remember 9-11
On Sunday, September 11, 2011, members of the Northwestern community were invited to a gathering commemorating the tenth anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on New York City and Washington, DC. The gathering was held at 'the Rock' on the Evanston campus. President Morton Schapiro joined student leaders in leading the remembrance and reflection. The event was sponsored by campus religious life organizations and the Office of the University Chaplains.
