Community Service Vans
The Community Service Van Program enables students to volunteer in the Evanston and Chicagoland communities. There are five vans available to community service Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) for the exclusive purpose of traveling to and from a community agency to perform service.Training
You must complete both programs before you are eligible to use the vans.
- Defensive Driving Certification
- Northwestern University’s Department of Risk Management proctors daily driver certification testing. The course is online and takes around 1-1.5 hours to complete. Community Service Van Training
Trainings are offered through the Center for Student Involvement, located on the 3rd floor of Norris. Please sign up and schedule an appointment by emailing SCSNorthwestern@gmail.com. In the email please list your name and your weekly availability.
