Knowing who and how many students, faculty and staff are using our services are important metrics. These metrics are reported each year in the annual reports submitted by each department in Student Affairs. Below are a few examples of our metrics from 2012:

  • Provided housing 4,037 undergraduate students and 601 graduate/professional students
  • Processed $6.6 million in deposits and issued $5.5 million in checks for student groups
  • Delivered over 33,000 packages to students living on campus
  • Conducted 7,360 career advising appointments
  • Advised 412 student groups, including 68 ethnic/cultural organizations
  • Advised 3,006 students who are members of 41 fraternity and sorority chapters
  • Recruited, hired, trained, supervised, and evaluated 542 student employees who work in Norris University Center, Residential Services, SafeRide, Conference Planning, and Student Affairs Information Technology
  • Gave 67,977 car rides to students between 7 pm and 3 am for safety reasons during the school year
  • Completed 16,766 counseling appointments with 1,910 undergraduate and graduate/professional
  • Completed 30,559 outpatient visits in the health services in Evanston and Chicago
  • Officiated at 48 weddings and 8 funeral/memorial services
