Assessing Student Satisfaction
Student Affairs at Northwestern is committed to continuous improvement. We employ surveys and other assessment mechanisms to measure and monitor student satisfaction with our programs and services. We also analyze and use satisfaction data from other University assessment instruments. Below are a few examples.
- New Student Survey (annually)
The New Student Survey measures student satisfaction with the information they received prior to matriculation and tbe Wildcat Welcome program. Data from this survey is shared with the schools/colleges.
Senior Survey (annually)
This survey includes a number of questions regarding student satisfaction with housing facilities, food service, career development services, and so on.
- ACUHO-I/EBI Resident Survey (bi-annually)
The ACUHO-I/EBI Resident Survey is conducted biannually by Student Affairs. It provides comparative student feedback in a systematic way across a broad spectrum of residential life, housing operations, safety and security, dining services, and overall satisfaction.
Health Service Patient Satisfaction Survey (quarterly)
The Health Service Patient Satisfaction Survey is sent quarterly to a random sample of students who utilized the services provided by the University Health Service.
