School of Continuing Studies Undergraduate Programs


Tuition and fees for Undergraduates and Graduates are listed here are for 2007 – 08. Increases should be expected in subsequent years.

For tuition purposes the term course refers to course credit. Some course offerings carry more than one course credit

Please note: An SCS student registered for a course in another school of the University pays the tuition charged by that school.

  • Auditors must pay the full fee at registration

Employee educational assistance
  • Most university faculty and staff members, along with their eligible spouses and dependant children, are eligible for reduced tuition.
  • University faculty and staff members must complete the Application for Faculty and Staff Reduced Tuition and return it to the Benefits Division of Human Resources.

Science Lab Fee
  • Fee is for Biology, Chemistry and Physics courses.

  • Fee is for Art, Information Systems, Communications and Radio/TV/Film courses.

Annual Health and Hospitalization Plan Insurance Premium
  • Eligible part-time students may apply for coverage by completing an application at the Health Service; this must be done each year coverage is desired. Student coverage is optional for part-time students.
  • When enrolling in the Plan, part-time students must show proof of registration in two classes on a continuing basis to secure the Plan for each quarter of enrollment desired.
  • Part-time students enrolled in the hospitalization plan must also pay a Health Clinic Fee.
