Setting up Direct Deposit

Use these instructions to set up a Direct Deposit Account.

Step 1

Navigate to the CAESAR login page, and sign in using your NetID and password. The Home Page appears.

Step 2

Click the “More Student Financials” link in the Student Financial Services pagelet or use the dropdown Main Menu and navigate to Student Financial Services > Setup Direct Deposit.

Step 3

Click the Setup Direct Deposit link that appears in the Student Financial Services pagelet. The Direct Deposit page appears.

Step 4

Click the Add Account button. “Checking” is the default for the Direct Deposit Account Type. However, you can change the type to “Savings,” if desired.

Step 5

Click in the Routing Number field. Enter in the Routing Number of your institution. For this exercise we will use the Routing Number of Chase Bank, or 071000013. Enter the desired information into the Routing Number field. Enter “071000013”.

Step 6

Click in the Account Number field. Enter your account number. For this exercise we will use a fictitious account number, 1234. Enter the desired information into the Account Number field. Enter "1234".

Step 7

Click in the Re-type Account Number field. Re-enter the account number here for verification. Enter the desired information into the Re-type Account Number field. Enter "1234". Click the Save button.

Step 8

You will receive a confirmation message when you save. An email confirmation will also be sent to you. Click the OK button.
