Printing in CAESAR

Learn how to print in CAESAR using the following browsers.

Internet Explorer 

  • Go to the Toolbar and Select Print. 
    • Then click on Print Preview
  • On the top of the Preview Pane, you can select portrait or landscape mode.
  • You will see a preview of the selected frame you are trying to print.
  • Use the sizing dropdown to resize as needed.
    • To resize Select Shrink to Fit or select the desired size. The preview will adjust to reflect the sizing changes.
  • Click on the Printer Icon in the upper left corner.
  • Make sure the proper printer is selected along with number of copies and pages are correct.
  • Click Print

Firefox 

Quick Print:

  • Right click in the area you wish to print on the page and select This Frame.
  • Select Print Frame
  • Make sure the proper printer is selected along with number of copies and pages are correct.
  • Click Print

To resize and do a print preview:

  • Right click in the area you wish to print and select This Frame.
  • Select either Open Frame in New Window or Open Frame in New Tab
  • Click the Open Menu Icon
    • Select Print
    • You will see a preview of the selected frame you are trying to print.
    • Use the sizing dropdown to resize as needed.
      • To resize Select Shrink to Fit or select the desired size. The preview will adjust to reflect the sizing changes.
      • You can also select to print in portrait or lanscape mode.
  • When you are satisfied, click Print in upper left hand corner.
  • Make sure the proper printer is selected along with number of copies and pages are correct.
  • Click Ok to print.

Google Chrome 

  • Right click in the area you wish to print. (keyboard shortcut: CTRL + P)
  • Select print
  • In the left hand panel, you can change the layout to portrait or landscape mode.
    • To scale or resize the page, select More Settings and adjust the scale by toggling up or down. (default scale is 100) 
  • Go to new tab or window. Right click. Select Print.
  • Make sure the proper printer is selected along with number of copies and pages are correct.
  • Click Print

Safari 

  • Click File, and select Print
  • The print menu will open. Here you can select which printer you want to print to, and select how many copies you want to print..
  • Click Print

Tip: You can also press Ctrl + P to bring up the Print Menu.
