BioEXCEL is a five-week academic and leadership development program for students interested in the biological sciences.
Students complete the program the summer before their freshman year on the Evanston campus. The program helps participants develop a strong foundation in core competencies including calculus, chemistry, biology and leadership skills.
For more information including how to get involved, see the BioEXCEL website.
The Searle Center co-directs the BioEXCEL program with the Northwestern University Ventures in Biology Education (nuViBE).
