The Teaching Certificate Program combines seminars, workshops, mentoring, and discipline-specific discussions to prepare participants for future college teaching responsibilities.
In an increasingly competitive academic job market, candidates must demonstrate a commitment to effective teaching in their disciplines. The Teaching Certificate Program encourages participants to think critically about teaching and learning at the college level. See the FAQs for more information.
Postdocs or graduate students in their third year or beyond can apply. See the program expectations for more on requirements once accepted.
Previous participants have also been eligible for a WCAS/TGS Teaching Fellowship.
Applications for the 2015-2016 cohort will open in March 2015.
