The Teaching Certificate Program combines seminars, workshops, mentoring, and discipline-specific discussions to prepare participants for future college teaching responsibilities.
In an increasingly competitive academic job market, candidates must demonstrate a commitment to effective teaching in their disciplines. The Teaching Certificate Program encourages participants to think critically about teaching and learning at the college level. See the FAQs for more information.
Post-docs or graduate students in their third year or beyond can apply. See the program expectations for more on requirements once accepted.
Previous participants have also been eligible for a WCAS/TGS Teaching Fellowship.
