Bio
Shyanmei Wang works as a program associate supporting faculty programs and research projects at the Searle Center for Teaching Excellence, Northwestern University. She holds a MA-TESOL degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a MS-ED degree in Higher Education Administration and Policy from Northwestern University. Prior to joining the Searle Center, she taught at universities in Taiwan and Thailand. Her research interest focuses on international students' learning experience in U.S. higher education and studies on "transfer of training" which investigates whether the knowledge and skills received in the training will be carried over to real life experience. She is currently working on the "Student Conceptions of International Experience" study.
