Bio
Louie is responsible for the operation of the Gateway Science Workshop program. In this role, he acts as a liaison between the various stakeholders of the GSW program including students, faculty, and administration of Northwestern University. His role also includes ensuring the proper enrollment and registration of the program's undergraduate facilitators and students in all GSW related courses.
Prior to joining Northwestern and Searle Center staff, Louie served as a coordinator with the Office of Racial Ethnic Student Affairs at Michigan State University. He has experience working with peer facilitated programs and its effects on undergraduate students. Louie's interests also include group dynamics and intercultural communication. He is a graduate of Michigan State University with a degree in Communication.
