Joe oversees graduate student development at the Searle Center, including programming such as the Graduate Workshop Series, the New TA Conference, the TA Fellows program, and the Graduate Teaching Certificate program. Prior to joining the Center in 2009, Joe was a Fellow and Program Coordinator at Yale's Graduate Teaching Center. A political theorist by training, his teaching interests include the history of political thought, contemporary political theory, and democratic theory. He holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from Yale.
