Undergraduate Academic Programs Coordinator
Erica is the coordinator of several undergraduate programs at the Searle Center for Advancing Learning and Teaching. She is responsible for all aspects of the Academic Mentoring Program (AMP), including recruitment and management of mentors and participants, serving as a faculty liaison, and running day-to-day program operations. She also works with Peer-Led Undergraduate Study (PLUS) and the Student-Organized Seminar Leader Development series. Erica is developing a new peer mentoring program, the Undergraduate Program for Advancing Learning (UPAL), to be launched during the 2014–2015 school year.
Prior to joining the Searle Center, Erica has held several roles, including: corps member as part of the Teach For America program, working at an anti-poverty non-profit organization, and most recently developing an accelerated degree program for at-risk community college students. Erica received her M.S. in communication from Northwestern University and a B.A. in public administration from San Diego State University.
