New Features: Curriculum Vitae Interface
Overview
Northwestern Scholars is a convenient place to aggregate all the information typically included in a CV or an NIH or NSF biosketch. In addition, the Curriculum Vitae interface for Northwestern Scholars includes awards and honors, artistic works, and both Northwestern and external engagement.
Later this fall, for those faculty members in the Feinberg School of Medicine, the CV will be synchronized with data from the Feinberg Faculty Profiles. For all other faculty members, the curriculum vitae data come from CVs that were shared with the Faculty and Staff Information System by each of the Schools.
NIH and NSF Biosketches
We are working with Elsevier technical staff and the VIVO network to use these CV data to create NIH and NSF biosketches. We will keep you up to date on when this feature will be ready.
Entering and Updating Your CV
If your profile does not have a CV, we probably have not received the data from your School. Please contact us, and we can enter the data. Or you can enter the data yourself; see Updating Your Profile.
