Room Reservations
There are a number of room reservations options available for recognized Northwestern groups or affiliated organizations. Recognized religious groups have access to University facilities. Rooms may be reserved through the Norris University Center, the University Registrar’s Office, the Office of the University Chaplain, and other offices on campus.
Religious Center
Parkes Hall is a religious center. Groups must be respectful of other organizations and events using the building. Activities and noise should not interfere with other groups. Persons reserving space are responsible for set-up and clean-up. Failure to use space appropriately may result in fines or banned from future building use.
To reserve a room at the Alice Millar Chapel, Jeanne Vail Chapel or the Parkes Hall Religious Center, contact Mary Kelly in the Chaplain’s Office (847.491-7256).
The following rooms may be reserved in the Religious Center:
- Alice Millar Chapel
- Jeanne Vail Chapel
- Parkes Hall 122 (social hall, kitchen attached)
- Parkes Hall 120
- Parkes Hall 204 (conference room)
- Parkes Hall, second floor classrooms (rooms 212, 213, 214, 215, 222,223,224)
Note: Second floor classrooms in Parkes Hall are scheduled by the Registrar’s Office on weekdays. Weekend events are scheduled by the Chaplain’s Office.
Note: The Alice Millar Chapel, Jeanne Vail Chapel and Parkes Hall Religious Center cannot accept responsibility for any valuables left anywhere at any time in the building.
