Research Committee 19 Annual Conference

Please note this schedule is provisional. There may be changes made before the final conference schedule. You can click on "PDF" to download a PDF of that paper.

This conference will operate according to Korpi's rules: A rather limited number of papers are circulated (and read) in advance, which are then introduced by a discussant (rather than the author) at the conference and discussed during conference sessions. Since it is assumed that all papers have been read in advance, we avoid summaries and cut to the intellectual chase! Thus, accepting a place on the program entails a commitment to complete the paper in time for others to read it and to come prepared to discuss papers taken as read.

Please print papers and bring them along with you as PRINTED COPIES OF THE PAPERS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE in Chicago. We apologize for any inconvenience; while we maintain our tradition of presuming the papers are read before the conference, the conference attendance has grown beyond our ability to make copies for everyone.
