Alex is originally from Minnesota and is currently a Junior at Northwestern University majoring in Philosophy and Art Theory and Practice. He is also a staff cartoonist for the Daily Northwestern and a member of the campus comedy group "NSTV". He hopes the research he is doing for the Circumnavigators Club will create scholarly dialogue on a poorly understood art (the international political cartoon) and additionally inform his own creative endeavors in the future.
