Release from Teaching Responsibilities following Summer Medical Leave
Tenure track faculty members on nine-month appointments who receive medical leave as described in the Faculty Handbook for six weeks or longer during a summer of the tenure probationary period may request release from teaching responsibilities for one academic term in the subsequent academic year. Such release from teaching responsibilities will not be granted if the medical leave occurs after the school dean's positive recommendation or negative decision regarding tenure.
