Research
Northwestern Scholars is a searchable database of faculty expertise across all disciplines at Northwestern University.
Public Voices Fellowship - Faculty participate in a year-long program in partnership with The OpEd Project that aims to dramatically increase scholars’ visibility and influence as thought leaders. Applications for the 2012-13 program have now closed.
Office for Research - The office coordinates research at Northwestern and promotes interdisciplinary collaboration among distinct departments and schools.
Office of Research Development (ORD) - The office advances research by supporting initiatives and funding; promoting the submission of proposals; catalyzing large, multi-investigator, interdisciplinary programs; and guiding early career investigators.
Research Integrity and Research Subjects - Includes the Office for Research Integrity (ORI), the Institutional Review Board (IRB) Office, and the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) Office.
InfoEd - Access Northwestern's enterprise system for proposal administration through the NUPortal.
University Research Grants Committee - Administered by The Graduate School, the committee reviews proposals from for support of research and creative arts projects.
Research Technology Resources – Northwestern University Information Technology (NUIT) provides research–enabling infrastructure where undergraduate, graduate, and faculty researchers can conduct scientific investigations, engage in global research initiatives , develop unique pedagogical programs, explore through advance visualizations, and solve demanding science, social sciences, and engineering problems.
