At Your Service

A Resource for Northwestern University Faculty and Staff Who Support Them

An initiative of the Office of the Provost, "At Your Service" endeavors to assist Northwestern faculty and staff who support them in discovering and navigating faculty-related resources, policies, and procedures at the University (and, in some cases, in the broader community).

We encourage members of the faculty and staff who support faculty members to avail themselves whenever possible of locally available assistance – from colleagues, department or center offices, school dean’s offices, or other University offices.

“At Your Service” is designed to provide an additional resource. Depending upon the nature of the inquiry, the response may provide the information requested or provide the name of a person in another office who we believe can be of assistance.   In some cases, the Provost’s Office may believe that a conversation would be helpful in clarifying the kind of assistance required.   In any case, we will endeavor to respond to any submissions within one business day.

“At Your Service” is not designed to adjudicate conflicts among colleagues or between colleagues and the University.   Such concerns should be directed to the department chair and, then, the school dean.    Unethical conduct or conduct which violates University policy can be reported at:  http://www.northwestern.edu/ethics/

We look forward to being of assistance.
