Amazon Account Setup Procedures for Procard Users

Existing Amazon account used exclusively for NU business, no personal use

  1. Verify that the email address on your Amazon account is your NU email address.  If a personal email address was used change it to your NU email address under Your Account, Settings, Change Account Settings.
  2. Send an email to the Procard office to solicit an invitation to register your account under the Northwestern University business account.
  3. When you receive your email inviting you to join follow the steps as documented here to register your account as tax exempt, enter your procard as your payment method and establish your shipping address.  Note:  The tax exempt certificate information must be entered exactly as documented in step 15.
  4. Verify that the Procard is the only payment type on the account.
  5. Contact the Procard office if you encounter any problems.
