Call for Nominations

Dear Northwestern Community Member,

As you know, Henry S. Bienen has announced that he will step down from his position as Northwestern’s President on August 31, 2009.  Patrick G. Ryan, Chair of the Board of Trustees, has appointed a Search Committee made up of trustees, faculty, staff, students and alumni.

The Search Committee is now in the process of accepting nominations and suggestions.  We hope you will take the time to give careful thought to the future of Northwestern University and the person who should lead it in the years to come.  We ask that you send your recommendations as to individuals who should be considered for the new leader of the University and any thoughts you have as to qualities we should look for in our next President.  We would very much appreciate receiving any nominations at this time so that they will receive full consideration.
