Welcome Message from the Search Committee Chair

Dear Northwestern Community,

As the chair of the Presidential Search Committee, I will be shepherding the work of the Search Committee to find the next President of Northwestern University.

Under the leadership of President Henry Bienen, the University has flourished. During his tenure, Northwestern faculty and students received numerous academic awards, the endowment quintupled, applications for admission skyrocketed, and the University's reputation grew both nationally and internationally.

The Search Committee is comprised of trustees, faculty, students, staff and alumni who will be meeting over the coming months and working together to determine the candidates who best fit the position. The Committee has also selected the search firm of Spencer Stuart to assist us in the search process.
