Kori Cooper

As a sophomore in the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences, Kori studies English with a minor in Chinese Language and Civilization. She is primarily interested in the fields of creative writing, English literature, and Chinese language and culture. Kori was first introduced to the Chinese language during one summer in elementary school at NU’s Center for Talent Development, an interest that has flourished ever since. Her commitment to education has afforded her opportunities like earning the Northwestern Posner Fellowship and being the youngest person to compete in the International Global Health Case Competition (GHCC) finals in 2015. Kori intends to pursue an M.A. or Ph.D. in the field of East Asian Studies and work towards a career in higher education.
