Meet the Family Ambassadors
Family Ambassador Program
The Family Ambassadors are a group of 30 phenomenal students at Northwestern who have had a range of experiences and cannot wait to share them all with the family members for our newest Wildcats. Family Ambassadors assist with the execution of Parent and Family Orientation during Wildcat Welcome and will interact with family members throughout the program to ensure all questions are answered and needs are met. They also assist family members and help carry out programming during Family Weekend each fall.
We also have the privilege of having a Family Liaison working with our office. The Family Liaison is a student leader in our office dedicated to selecting, training and mentoring the Family Ambassadors.
Connor Lantz is the New Student and Family Programs (NSFP) Family Liaison. In this role, Connor works alongside the NSFP staff to support the office, student leaders, and new students. In particular, he leads the Family Ambassador program where he coordinates the training and organization of student leaders to serve as guides for Parent and Family Orientation and Family Weekend.
Connor is from the Indianapolis area, and is a member of the Class of 2017 at Northwestern. He is a double-major studying chemistry and biology and is planning to attend graduate school after his undergraduate studies at Northwestern. On campus, Connor conducts research in a laboratory, is a member of a National Honor Fraternity, and served on the executive board for his residential college. Connor loves the opportunities that Northwestern provides for students not only to learn, but also to surround themselves with supportive and passionate communities. He is excited to serve as the Family Liaison so that he can share his love for Northwestern with the family members of its students.
