Meet the Family Ambassadors

family at wildcat welcome saying goodbye

Family Ambassadors. A group of phenomenal students at Northwestern who have had a range of experiences and cannot wait to share them all with the family members for our newest Wildcats. Family Ambassadors assist with the execution of Parent and Family Orientation during Wildcat Welcome and will interact with family members throughout the program to ensure all questions are answered and needs are met.

This year we have the privilege of having a Family Liaison working with our office.  The Family Liaison is a new student leadership position in our office dedicated to selecting, training, and mentoring the Family Ambassadors.

We are currently selecting our Family Ambassadors.  Check back in May to meet the 2014 Family Ambassadors.

Meet the current Family Liaison and Family Ambassadors below!

Katherine Scott is incredibly honored to serve as the Parent & Family Liaison after serving as a Peer Adviser for the past two years. Katherine is a junior studying Dance, Psychology, and Theatre, with a concentration in Theatre for Young Audiences. On campus, Katherine is actively involved in her student theatre board, several dance groups, her sorority, NU Active Minds, Alternative Student Breaks, and of course, Wildcat Welcome. Katherine is originally from Holmdel, New Jersey, and she loves coffee, board games, adventuring in new cities, spending time with friends and family, and the color PURPLE. She cannot wait to work with the Family Ambassadors and the NSFP staff to welcome new students and their family members to our Wildcat community!
