Each year, One Book One Northwestern works with different departments or centers depending on the theme of the book. This year we are happy to have the following named partners who will work with One Book to develop relevant programming surrounding themes of the book throughout the academic year.
Colloquium on Indigeneity and Native American Students (CINAS)
The Colloquium on Indigeneity and Native American Studies is an interdisciplinary academic endeavor that aims to promote and stimulate conversations on indigeneity and indigenous populations in the Americas and the transnational imaginary at Northwestern University. The Office of International Program Development
IPD was created in 1998 to provide coordination and support to international efforts on campus and to work with all schools to promote internationalization and cross-school collaborations. The Office seeks to do so by directly supporting international studies, internationalizing curriculum and developing new programs abroad for students, coordinating grant submissions to create new international programs and building partnerships with foreign universities.

Dittmar Memorial Gallery
Dittmar Memorial Gallery, established in 1972, is a student-operated gallery that enlightens and challenges the Northwestern University community with the works of emerging and underrepresented artists from the Chicago area and the Midwest. The staff at Dittmar is dedicated to developing and fostering the Northwestern community’s awareness of the changing attitudes and trends in the art world. We invite artists who work in the contemporary vein, as well as artists who offer an alternative perspective that hinges on the periphery of the art world. In essence, our goal is to provide well-deserved exposure to those outside or on the margins of the mainstream art world.
Dittmar is the site for two annual dinners in conjunction with the One Book program. Dinner at Dittmar is an open group dinner and discussion of the book, which is led by a university professor. Students, faculty, staff and public gather for these discussions.
