Research center directors share innovationsNorthwestern’s Office for Research presents “CenterPiece Live” Monday, May 7, at the McCormick Tribune Center Forum. The event, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., is open to the University community. Directors of seven University research centers will present overviews of the innovative research conducted in their facilities. Julio Ottino, dean of the McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science, will present the latest research on sustainable energy sources taking place and being planned at Northwestern. The free program celebrates multidisciplinary research at Northwestern and provides opportunities for making new connections among research investigators and students in different disciplines. Faculty, postdoctoral fellows, research staff, graduate students and other interested individuals are invited to attend sessions that interest them.
