Kids' Fare spring show March 31

Kaleidoscope of singing styles

The School of Music’s annual Kids Fare series continues its lineup of hour-long children’s and family-oriented concerts. These fun, kid-friendly programs geared for children aged 3 to 8 are performed and conducted by students, faculty members and guest artists.

The 10:30 a.m. Saturday morning concerts on March 31 and May 5 will be held at Pick-Staiger Concert Hall.

This Spring’s March 31 Kids Fare, “A Sing Thing for Spring,” will present a kaleidoscope of singing styles that will have young vocal chords buzzing. Audience members will have the opportunity to tra-la-la and do-re-mi as they discover their “inner diva.”

The 2006-07 Kids Fare series will conclude May 5 with the “Invasion of the Tubas and Trombones” program when nimble tubists and trombonists take the stage.

For more information or to purchase tickets, contact the Pick-Staiger Ticket Office at (847) 467-4000 or go to www.pickstaiger.com.
