HRIS system upgraded

Individuals who use HRIS Self Service and eRecruit (Northwestern’s electronic recruiting system) now have access to the newly upgraded HRIS 8.9 system that features the latest version of PeopleSoft.

Internal applicants applying for a University job should be aware that the system will look different when they sign in this week, said Kathy Tessendorf, director of Human Resources Information Systems.

Internal applicants will access HRIS Self Service to apply for a University job at: http://nuhr.northwestern.edu. Within HRIS Self Service, under the “Recruiting/Job Openings” folder, applicants should click the “Apply for Jobs” link to search and apply for a Northwestern University job. This link will also take employees to online paycheck, benefit summary, direct deposit, effort reporting and conflict of interest.

Information on getting started in the newly upgraded system, application quicksheet, applicant FAQ and troubleshooting FAQ can be found at www.northwestern.edu/hr/jobs/applicationhelp.html.

Additional information on the HRIS Upgrade to 8.9 can be found at www.northwestern.edu/hr/hris/hris/upgrade/index.html.
