Xiao-Lin He, assistant professor of molecular pharmacology and biological chemistry, has a Ph.D. from the Chinese Academy of Sciences. A specialist in molecular biology, he was on the faculty at Stanford University. Thomas J. Hope, professor of cell and molecular biology, has a Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley.
