State of University address set for Feb. 9University President Henry S. Bienen will deliver the annual State of the University Address at 9 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 9. Bienen will share his perspective on the progress and challenges of the University over the last year and discuss future goals and directions during his speech in Thorne Auditorium in the Arthur Rubloff Building on the Chicago campus. A question and answer session will follow the address. Members of the University community are encouraged to attend the live address. Those unable to attend may submit (anonymous) questions in advance to nusac@northwestern.edu. Individuals may also view the event at a live webcast in the Forum in the McCormick Tribune Center. The webcast, using Real Player software, will also be available online by clicking the banner on the Northwestern home page. To avoid possible technical difficulties on the day of the event, it is strongly recommended that individuals test their Real Player functionality at least 24 hours in advance of the event.
