Through a question and answer format, she commented on a range of issues, including how President Bush promotes the privatization concept to the public and how an individual would actually invest funds. When asked to respond to the notion that Democrats have not offered alternative solutions, Schakowsky asserted that her party is eager to discuss several ways of saving the trust fund — as soon as the proposal of private accounts is taken off the table. |
