Kellogg launches executive MBA-MiamiFollowing approval by the State of Florida’s Commission for Independent Education last week, the Kellogg School of Management has begun recruiting participants for the launch of its Kellogg-Miami Executive MBA Program. The program is being initiated as part of a strategic global expansion campaign for the Kellogg School, geared toward better serving business education needs worldwide, and will begin classes in January 2006. “We look forward to moving ahead with our program, and have begun recruiting a diverse inaugural class of students,” said Kellogg School Dean Dipak C. Jain. “The Kellogg-Miami EMBA Program offers U.S.- and Latin America-based managers an opportunity to learn and share best business practices with each other and to develop mutually-beneficial, long-lasting professional relationships — all within the context of a truly global business school.” The Kellogg-Miami EMBA Program will be located just outside of downtown Miami in Coral Gables. Students will attend courses in a newly designed state-of-the-art tiered classroom setting complete with private study areas, created specifically for the Kellogg EMBA-Miami program. “Florida — and Miami in particular — is regarded as the American gateway to Latin America, and is the logical choice to be the home of this program,” said Julie Cisek Jones, assistant dean and director of the Kellogg School Executive MBA programs. “This program brings the global classroom experience that distinguishes the Kellogg EMBA program to business executives in the region. Additionally for those interested, we will offer Latin America-focused electives as part of the Miami program.” |
