Composer at work
John Adams, winner of the Michael Ludwig Nemmers Prize in Music Composition, recently completed his first of four residencies at Northwestern. He closed the visit with a Feb. 25 concert at Pick-Staiger Concert Hall. He also made classroom visits and consulted on a rehearsal by the Symphonic Wind Ensemble, conducted by Mallory Thompson and featuring pianists Ursula Oppens and Sylvia Wang. |
