Our Nobel Laureate
Israeli researcher Aaron J. Ciechanover (left), a visiting professor of medicine at the Feinberg School of Medicine, accepted the 2004 Nobel Prize in Chemistry at formal ceremonies in Stockholm in early December. Present for the Nobel Prize ceremonies was longtime friend and scientific collaborator Jacob I. Sznajder, M.D., Roy and Elaine Patterson Professor of Medicine and chief of pulmonary and critical care medicine at Feinberg. Ciechanover is a researcher on an $11 million Program Project Grant in the division of pulmonary and critical care medicine at Feinberg. |
