Paul Krugman, award-winning economist and columnist for The New York Times, delivered a critical review last month of Bush administration policy. The talk, sponsored by College Democrats and Students for Ecological and Environmental Development, addressed a range of issues, most notably tax code and social security reform. He denied there is a social security crisis, reasoning it is under attack because it works so well. ?It is the prime legacy of the New Deal,? he said. He also shared his views and answered questions on environmental policy, the military and the media.
